Asthamay Beach Resort

Asthamay has been in business since 2003.
We are located in the Indian Southern state of Kerala, in the village of Odayam, a small community 4 km from Varkala town in the direction north- west, on the cost of the Arabian Sea.
The nearest train station is Varkala, about 4 km away. The nearest airport is Trivandrum International, 65 km south of us.

How to Get to Asthamay Bungalows

  • By train: Varkala is on the main line of the Southern Railway and most trains stop here. Most long distance trains stop in Varkala.
  • By rickshaw or car: we are 15 minutes away from the bus stand and the train station, or 20 minutes from the Varkala Cliff.
  • Walking along the seaside: Asthamay is located 15 minutes north of the Varkala Cliff.
  • If you call us in advance, we can arrange a pick up from:
  • Varkala Railway Station,
  • Trivandrum International Airport, 65 km from Varkala, about 1.5 hour drive from Asthamay
  • The Kollam boat jetty, 25 km from Varkala
  • Kochi International Airport, about 200 km from Varkala
